Message	:Is there anyway to install it with both heads still on the block or :do one of the heads have to come off? :I was able to remove it without removing the heads but now I am :doubting if I can install it, or at least install it without the RTV :being smeared all over the place. Correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't the thermostat housing located on the front of the engine? All I had to do to remove it was remove the radiator, shroud, and fan to access the nuts/bolts that hold it on. At no point did I mess with the heads. As far as the RTV, if you use the right amount ( just enough to cover the housing) you shouldn't smear it all over the place.
